AIMS Training

AIMS, the Advice & Information Management System is a client contact database designed to meet the needs of advice and information providers. The AIMS software was developed by LASA (London Advice Services Alliance).

Advice NI currently offers 3 levels of AIMS training as one-day workshops:

An Introduction to AIMS
AIMS Administration
AIMS Report Writing

AIMS Version 3 upgrade: Release date 7th June 2005

All Version 2 AIMS Users with an up to date support contract are entitled to a free upgrade to AIMS version 3, the latest version of the software.

The status of your Support Contract is shown in the letter that LASA recently sent out to all AIMS users re upgrading from AIMS version 2 to AIMS version 3.

Please note, you will need a NEW Licence key after upgrading. Do not attempt an upgrade until you have your new licence key.

Please visit the AIMS website to download Version 3, installation instructions and other relevant documentation.

Advice NI members using the monthly workload report (Advice NI report) will need to ensure that when they upgrade to version 3 of AIMS that they also upgrade the report. For the necessary file and details on how to do this please contact Patricia at Advice NI.
