Advice NI membership will provide you with:

  • An annual subscription to advice matters
  • Membership of the Advice NI e-group which will keep you in touch with other Advice NI members on social policy and other issues relevant to the independent advice sector

Who can join?

Full Advice NI membership is open to those centres who fulfil the following criteria:

  • The centre is striving to pursue a policy of Equal Opportunities
  • Advice is part of the centre's work
  • The centre operates a confidentiality policy
  • The centre operates a complaints procedure
  • The centre is independent of central or local government control
  • The centre has a means by which it is accountable to the community (e.g. a management committee)
  • The centre is non-profit making and advice is free
  • The centre operates a case recording system (computer-based or manual)
